The deadline to apply for 2008 scholarships has passed. Please check back in January 2009 for the new postings!
Tourism Cares will be offering the following types of scholarships in 2009 for students pursuing a degree in travel and tourism and for professionals who are employed in the travel and tourism industry:
Spring Scholarships
- Deadline: April 1, 2009
- Application forms and requirements will be posted by January 2009
- 15 Academic Scholarships
- 9 School-Administered Scholarships
- 4 Internships & Research Grants
Fall Scholarships
- Deadline: October 1, 2009
- Application forms and requirements will be posted by July 2009
- These scholarships are for undergraduates or graduates pursuing a degree in travel and tourism.
Professional Development Scholarships
- Deadline: Rolling
- Application forms, requirements, and approved programs will be posted by January 2009
- These scholarships are for students and travel industry professionals who are enrolled in a proprietary travel school or an educational travel program.
