Located on the urban campus of the University of Chicago, the 1910 Frederick C. Robie House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is classified as one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s 21 historic sites. The building was one of Wright's early works and one of his most influential designs as well. It was named one of the “best American architectural works of all time” by the American Institute of Architects. The Tourism Cares Worldwide Grant funding assisted with the continued restoration of the interior of the house. The funding was matched by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
