In 2004, the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation in Plymouth Notch, Vermont received $10,000 in Tourism Cares Worldwide Grant funding to preserve the Union Christian Church building. The building is home to the Coolidge Foundation, which serves as a presidential library and research center. It is part of the Calvin Coolidge Homestead National Historic Landmark District, a designation of the National Park Service of the U. S. Department of Interior. The 1840 Greek Revival-style building with its Carpenter Gothic interior stands in the center of the 11 buildings that make up the National Historic Landmark District. The grant funded exterior preservation painting, roof replacement, and historic glass window restoration.
