Longfellow’s picturesque Wayside Inn was built in 1716. Its historic district includes the Grist Mill, built by Henry Ford in 1929, the oldest operating grist mill in New England. The mill continues to function as a working museum. The Tourism Cares grant helped in preserving this historic Grist Mill.
