About the Hearts of Travel Awards
It is our privilege to honor companies and individuals committed to giving back to travel – and to intentionally document their journey so that others may learn from them:
1. Legacy in Travel Philanthropy Award, which recognizes thecommitment and outcomes of companies who have excelled in this space for decades. The 2014 inaugural award was made to Micato Safaris; read the case study to learn why!
Thank you to our Sponsor:
2.New Innovators Travel CSR Award: in addition to honoring accomplished veterans in this space, we recognize strong new entrants who make a major commitment to CSR and whose new approaches have paid early dividends.
3.Philanthropic Champion of Travel, which is selected by the Tourism Cares Board of Directors in recognition of personal philanthropic excellence that may not be part of a company agenda.
Tourism Cares is also honored to be the home of the Tourism Hall of Fame, recognizing individuals who have made significant industry contributions through professional, philanthropic, and mentoring activities.
