Giving back is good for business: it’s a way to invest in communities we care about, and to strengthen connections with employees and clients. And while we believe we give better together, we also know that giving back is intensely personal and should be fully aligned with your particular business.
One way to enrich the travel experience is for all of travel and tourism to give back and do so effectively, regardless of the cause.
Members have access to 3 resources for enhancing their corporate social responsibility efforts:
- Strategic consulting: with 5 complimentary hours and additional time at cost, we can help review an existing program or start a new one. Mike Rea, CEO, has advised companies and families on philanthropy for more than 15 years, with training at Give2Asia, Bank of America/US Trust, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
- Private label grants or volunteer programs: we can help if there’s a particular project you have the will and resources to undertake but you need affordable experts to help make happen! We’ve designed international grant programs and facilitated 50-person volunteer programs for individual member companies.
CSR Peer Learning Group: We should collaborate rather than compete when giving back, and this learning group gathers member staff and executives interested in giving and volunteering together to share best practices, challenges and case studies.
