Accessibility
We strive to make our events accessible to all! Accessibility notes are included below and within each experience description.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns - if there is important information we may have missed or if there is anything we can do to support you, we are always happy to help make changes in order to make the experience as positive and inclusive as possible.
Volunteering with Riverlink:
Experience includes a guided educational walk along the greenway, followed by approximately 1.5 hours of hands-on volunteering. Volunteer activities may include planting or invasive species removal and will involve gardening-style work such as bending, kneeling, and using hand tools. Activities will take place on uneven terrain. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided on the day.
Transportation to and from the River Arts District is wheelchair accessible.
River Arts District Walking Tour:
The route is mostly flat and about a one mile walk in total. There is a slight incline about midway through the tour, with limited benches along the way but stops in galleries where you can take a break as needed.
Transportation to and from the River Arts District is wheelchair accessible.
White Water Rafting:
The NOC team is committed to providing an experience that is accessible to as many guests as possible and is able to accommodate many needs and requests. If you have any questions or accessibility needs, please email Kati Hagedorn so we can coordinate with the NOC team to support the best possible experience.
